Giving kisses to Eliza...note this is the only time she has ever held her.
I can't believe our little Eliza is already one month old!!!! So crazy! Madilyn absolutely LOVES Eliza, probably a little too much. What they say about your toddler being the most danger for your baby is SO TRUE!!! We have already had some close calls. I had already learned my lesson about never leaving Eliza alone anywhere on the couch or ground while Madilyn is awake. So I had some housework to do, so I thought to myself, "I don't want her to have to sit in her crib all day, so I will put her in her swing." Well a few minutes later I hear Eliza screaming from her room. I go sprinting in to find Madilyn sitting on top of Eliza in her swing...not only that, Eliza was hanging over the side hitting the bar as it swung. Yes I know, I am failing at keeping my child safe. It is so hard because Madilyn just doesn't understand that she is hurting Eliza when she "loves" her sometimes!!
Well, Madilyn has a new love in life...."Banya"....translation....Peanut Butter. I have no idea where these words come from. Anyway, she has had 6 half sandwiches of peanut butter in the past 24 hours, and it is the only thing she will eat. Life is so good, I just love my husband and little girls so much, I feel so blessed!!
Your baby is so adorable and I love name! And Madilyn is so cute too! Love the blonde hair! I found your blog from Ambers blog. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I just had to chuckle at the story about your toddler being a hazard to the baby. SO TRUE! Just today Jax was trying to "help" by feeding Ellie a cheerio from the ground. What a nice brother. Aaaah!
